Three dimensional design has proven to be an extremely important part of communicating the end result of a successful project from the very beginning. We at Hoff Design/Build can provide quality design services for kitchens, remodeling and new construction.
This Example of a Master Walk In Closet design is a 3D video walk through that enable our clients to see and feel their space even before we build it. We use state of the art design software that assists you, our clients, in seeing what you are going to be doing, now.
This is a Hoff Design Build 3D video walk through of a kitchen remodel design for a project in Boise Idaho including 3D render.
We at Hoff Design Build are excited to offer the concept of not only providing 3D renders of your project before we build, but now we have the capability to provide 3D video walk through technology as well as being able to upload a 3D model that can be explored by our clients on their own devices. This kind of design enables our clients the ability to see it before we build it. The video below is a project that we just completed design, and today rendered out a video walk through.
Our wonderful clients often had great ideas and it was enjoyable to implement them. Here are before and after photos that show changing the walls, floors, trim, doors and cabinetry color. It was a dramatic change and a nice update.
Our client requested design of special display cabinetry for their library to harmonize with the existing woodwork in their home. The following rendering is an exact replica of the space where the cabinetry will be built. Glass shelves and under mount lighting will light up their archaeological display items while the center knotty alder shelves will contain their library.
3D Bathroom on the roof
I made this page using my cell phone to test how intuitive it is both for me the author and you the end-user. WordPress created an app that enables me to administer my site from my phone!
How does that help us?
This will allow me to share at the moment the good idea comes and share when we are on the go.
So here is a project that I helped design utilizing 3D graphics and also managed construction for Strite Design Remodel.
Who can guess where this is?
These are the 3D renders:
We had to use a crane to get this done.
We made the counter for the stone sink from 3oo+ year old wood, we cut the mirror to create an organic slope, we ran the tiles vertical with a tapering organic leading edge. The walls are Venetian plaster, the floor is stained concrete, built like a shower including a drain, and the structure was built to commercial code requirements with a stucco exterior. The door was recycled from a fire, and was re cut into a proper size door for this project. Pretty fun.
Here are a couple of actual photos:
We will showcase this project at some point, but wanted to try creating a page from my phone.
Hoff Design Build is able to assist you in New Construction and Remodel design and planning. We help you to see the project before you begin. Although this process is not necessarily inexpensive, it by far has proven to be worth every penny once the actual construction begins. Peace of mind comes with visual clarity.
Here is a sample of a current project that I have been working on this week (May 7, 2015) for Strite Design Remodel.
Rendered images require time and planning to make them represent the actual look, many times we improvise by creating the objects that you see in these images from scratch.
The posts, beams, patio and deck were not library items in my CAD program, so all that needed to be made by creating objects and applying textures to them.
As you can see in this drawing, the ground follows a slope. We are able to assign elevation information to our drawings to assist in creating as realistic representation as possible.
I take photos to use in the backgrounds which helps to make a good rendering more realistic.
Notice the shadows? We are able to apply sun data based on time and location…pretty cool.
The idea behind great 3D design is to be able to see it before it becomes a reality. So in this project that ocean in the background is really not there, but in order to make the sales brochures believable to the clients, they need to see what they will be purchasing. It was important to my client that the view in the images be the same view buyers will have when they purchase these condos.
So How did we pull it off? I created a wide image consisting of pictures taken on location in a panoramic view and made a 3D wall in my architectural software program, and pasted the image to the wall. I directed lighting at the wall until i was comfortable with a feel like the sun. I placed the models of the condos in front of the arched wall and then rendered from inside the condos.
And that is how it was done.
We did not have to draw the entire structure, just the space necessary to show the views of the ocean.
And the kitchen of course…
